Natural Law

Natural Law is the systematic philosophical underpinning of much of Catholic moral theology. In the Middle Ages, it achieved its highest expression in the work of St. Thomas Aquinas, particularly in his Summa Theologiae. Efforts to expand on the reach of Natural Law have developed considerably since then, however, there does not seem to be very significant work on the systematics of the theory. These pages are dedicated to attempting to establish an axiomatic framework for the theory of Natural Law.

The failure of modern society to grasp the significance and reality of natural law gave me great impetus to establish this blog. See The purpose of this weblog.
