Fired teacher, unwed and pregnant, sues Catholic school

According to this AP report, which appeared in New York Newsday, New York City - AP New York, the New York Civil Liberties Union filed a federal discrimination complaint against Queens Catholic school for firing a teacher who became pregnant out of wedlock. Presumably the NYCLU deems the woman's financial rights to be superior to the school community's moral and religious rights and hopes that the court agrees.

In his recent visit to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, President Bush adroitly avoided being spat upon by a camel. Someone must have clued him in on the ruminants' raucous rebukes. Actually, it seems President Bush was there on an Asian tour to try to build up our trade with Asian nations and to try to shore up our allies in the dispute with North Korea over their nuclear weapons.
