When organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center get coopted by pro gay/lesbian life style groups, they both circle the wagons and marginalize groups that do good work on the basis of their not being politically correct. As a result, the good work they themselves do in other areas gets tainted. An example of the new "embattled liberal" mentality can be found on one of their news reports, "A Mighty Army."
Its truly strange to find loving and caring people on opposite poles of a political spectrum, separated only by a serious misunderstanding and disagreement about moral entitlement.
It's very much the same thing in the political divide over abortion. People that might ordinarily form a united front in bringing about the kingdom of God (justice and peace) are seriously divided over moral entitlements. The armies of Satan must find all of this very amusing. Then again, given the human predilections for combativeness and self-righteousness, if it were not these issues, it would probably be others.
