A Mass honoring Pope Francis at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (initials BNSIC) in Washington, DC was presided over by Cardinal Christophe Pierre, the Apostolic Nuncio (representing the Vatican hierarchy) to the United States.
